For many SEHD students, the cost of earning a degree can be expensive. Field hours and full- time internships often cut into work hours. Teacher education degrees have costs and fees associated with the requisite Florida Teacher Certification Exams (FTCEs). But thanks to the generosity of various donors, students across SEHD are getting some financial assistance.

As a result of the generosity of community organizations, alumni, and faculty whose donations established these scholarships, SEHD was able to award over $184,000 to forty education students this academic year alone! Our donors’ commitment to education and our students is outstanding. Many of these students would have to have incurred loans or interrupted their studies if it were not for these scholarships.
