15 years ago, Miami-Dade County voters approved dedicating $50 per $100,000 of property value to improve the lives of children through The Children’s Trust.

The Children’s Trust recently supported the Center for Children and Families in making sure as many children were able to attend their Summer Treatment Program for Pre-Kindergarteners (STP-PreK).

The Summer Treatment Program for Pre-Kindergarteners (STP-PreK) is a comprehensive school readiness program for children entering kindergarten with behavioral, emotional and learning problems. The cost associated with the camp is based off of the parents income but The Children’s Trust was able to assist parents by covering half of the tuition, which allowed more children to be seen by licensed Psychologists and teachers.
