At the end of October, leading researchers convened in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Great Scientific Exchange (SciX) to present their cutting-edge  developments in analytical sciences, instrumentation and unique applications.

Those who attended the conference enjoyed a world-class exhibition, presentations from leading scientist, education courses and many networking opportunities.

Among this year’s presenters was Biochemistry Ph.D. student, Chantrell Frazier. Frazier was awarded second place by the Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Society (FACSS) for her poster presentation on Human Scent Forensics: A cross-disciplinary study using SPME-GC/MS VOC analyses and next generation DNA sequencing.

Congratulations, Chantrell!
