As of January 1, 2018, NFSTC joined the Florida International University team to expand and strengthen forensic science services in the United States and around the world. In June 2018, NFSTC@FIU was named a component of the Global Forensic and Justice Center, a Preeminent Program of FIU.
Since 1995, scientists and specialists at NFSTC have provided training, support and technology evaluations for agencies and laboratories across the country. In addition, NFSTC has developed and delivered services for a variety of Department of Defense customers, private laboratories and corporations.
