FIU says “Thank You!” to T. Joan Lawrence, J.D. for 16 ½ years of dedicated service and leadership. Through the Southeast Environmental Research Center, Joan has served as a Senior Advisor for the Office of Everglades Restoration Initiatives in the U.S. Department of the Interior. She has served as the DOI’s liaison with the South Florida Water Management District and for several years has also been the Department’s designated representative on the Water Resource Analysis Coalition.

We wish Joan many years of fine health and happiness.
