FIU Tropics’ Tropical Conservation Internship Program works with local partner institutions to provide students with an opportunity to develop research and professional skills and get hands-on training. This collaborative initiative supports student development and the advancement of tropical research and conservation.
Every semester, FIU Tropics chooses 10 outstanding undergraduate students to participate in multiple research.
This semester’s cohort included Anthony Chiong, Andreina Contreras, Lindsay Gramling, Marina Loiacono, Christina Jackson, Megan Long, Sofia Ocampo, Demi Aminedeau and Christensen Medina.
