FIU welcomes international students for seminar

On April 1 and 2, the School of Education and Human Development hosted a group of graduate students from Universidad de la Sabana, Colombia.

The 24 Colombian graduate students attended a two day International Seminar in Early Childhood Education and Special Education taught by Dr. Angela Salmon and Dr. Liana Gonzalez. Topics covered included best practices in early childhood, growth and development from an education perspective, and research methodologies.

The seminar was part of Universidad de Sabana’s effort to internationalize their students’ experiences. For the School of Education and Human Development, it meant reinforcing the vision of educating world-class leaders both locally and globally.
