
First Steps Interventions provides both behavior-reduction programs for maladaptive behavior, as well as skill-building programs such as verbal behavior, daily living skills and social skills. Using empirically based ABA technologies, the agency aims to provide generalization training from the beginning by incorporating family members and familiar environments. The agency is looking for a student intern to assist with behavior reduction protocols, social skills facilitation in small group settings and occasional outings, among other tasks.

In order to apply for this internship, students must be enrolled in PSY4941: Experiential Learning/Internship in Psychology (0-9). Eligible students will have completed EAB 3002 with at least a C grade. Please note that agencies may have additional requirements. Placements are limited and competitive.
