The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University invites applications to fill two full-time 12-months, permanent instructor positions at the MMC (Job Opening ID 519299) and BBC (Job Opening ID 519196) campus to commence in August 2020.

Duties will include teaching mathematics courses and some service activities within the department and the university. Teaching assignments may include hybrid (i.e. blended) and fully online undergraduate instruction.

A Master’s in Mathematics is requested for these positions; preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in mathematics, or to candidates who are in the process of earning a doctoral degree. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching, written and oral communication skills.
