FIU seeking statistics instructor

College instructor teaching students in the classroom.

The Division of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at FIU invites applications to fill a full-time, nine-month permanent instructor position in Fall 2020.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree or higher in Statistics and are expected to demonstrate a commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching, written and oral communication skills.

Duties will include teaching statistics courses (mostly at the undergraduate level) and some service activities within the department and the university. Teaching assignments may include hybrid (i.e., blended) and online undergraduate instruction.
