Frost Museum hiring education program manager

Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is seeking an education programs manager who will work in the Education Department to develop and deliver educational programming to visiting school groups, museum camp guests and general visitors throughout the year. These may include facilitated classroom-based experiences or hands-on learning opportunities located throughout the museum.

The education programs manager will manage the youth programs facilitators throughout the year. Programs will cover all areas of science, including health and wellness, engineering, marine science, astronomy, physics and zoology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, science education, museum education or a related science discipline and at least 2 years of formal education experience in a classroom or similar environment required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Background and/or strong interest in several scientific areas: health, astronomy, physics, marine biology, etc.
