NFSTC’s DNA analysis project in the spotlight

Robert O’Brien, forensic biology section lead for National Forensic Science Technology Center at FIU, presented at the St. Pete Innovation District’s State of Science to introduce other professionals about their Rapid DNA project and how it can provide a full DNA profile in 90 minutes or less.

This year’s event was promoting all elements of STEAM – science, technology, engineering, art and math.

NFSTC at FIU is dedicated to supporting the justice community in ensuring the public safety by assisting the forensic sciences in the achievement of the highest level of quality services.
