Biochemistry PhD candidate recognized at 35th McKnight Annual Fellows Meeting

The McKnight Doctoral Fellowship program, established in 1984, aims to address the under-representation of African American and Hispanic faculty at colleges and universities in the state of Florida by increasing the pool of citizens qualified with PhD degrees to teach at the college and university levels.

On Oct. 11, McKnight Doctoral Dissertation Fellow, Chantrell Frazier and over 300 fellows met in Tampa, Fla. for the 35th McKnight Annual Fellows Meeting and 23rd Annual Graduate School Conference. Frazier received the Russel V. Ewald award for her commitment not only to academic excellence but also to community service.
