LACC-Global Learning Medallion Research Fellowship

The Office of Global Learning Initiatives and the Kimberly Green Latin American & Caribbean Center are offering stipends to faculty of up to $800 to mentor Global Learning Medallion students conducting research on or relevant to Latin America and/or the Caribbean.

Fellowship Research Project Requirements:

  • Be relevant to Latin America and/or the Caribbean
  • Involve a faculty mentor from any FIU academic department and an undergraduate student mentee enrolled in the Global Learning Medallion program. (Students can sign up for the program prior to submitting fellowship application).

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis during the academic year and availability is limited. Faculty from different departments and students from all majors are welcome to apply.
