“One of the reasons I love doing what I do, I go around the country, I give lectures for National Geographic and now as director of Exploration and Science Communications at FIU I get to reach these much bigger audiences and talk to young girls and hopefully inspire them to follow in those footsteps,” Mayor told NBC’s 6 in the Mix.
