
Psychology alumnus Andrew Booth, switched his blue and gold colors to blue and black when the Minnesota United FC selected him with the No. 96 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
This marks back-to-back years MLS teams drafted College of Arts, Sciences & Education alumni. Recreation and Sports Management alumnus Santiago Patino was drafted in 2019. It was also the third consecutive year FIU soccer players have been selected in the MLS Draft.
Booth had an exceptional career at FIU as he was named the 2019 Conference USA Midfielder of the Year and led FIU in points and shots-on-goal in 2019.
