The Outreach and Field Trip Manager at the Phillip and Patricia Frost
Museum of Science has direct oversight of programs focused on serving audiences both on and off site through programs that align with shared missions and areas of museum focus in addition to establishing new programmatic revenue streams. Examples include (but are not limited to): Scouting partnerships, overnight programs, connections with community organizations, aligning community partners with established program offerings and development of new programs.

Additionally, the candidate will aid with the development and lead the implementation of a strategy for reservations for outreach, field trips and other educational programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing or another science related field. Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • At least two-three years of experience in sales and/or marketing revenue generating programs/products.
  • At least one-two years in educational program development and delivery in an informal education setting (outreach or otherwise) with a portion of that dedicated to program development and/or community relationships.
  • At least one year of experience supervising a staff of two or more.
