Omega Center for Autism is a multi-disciplinary center specializing in ABA therapy and occupational and speech therapy for children with special needs. Their philosophy is that all children have the ability to learn and develop skills regardless of diagnosis, skill deficits or challenging behavior. Omega Center for Autism is seeking qualified, dedicated, compassionate and energetic individuals to join their team. They have a clinic in Tamarac, FL and are partnered with certain private schools to provide therapy in center, home and school.

 Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide treatment in home, school, and community settings
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Implement the treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA and work in collaboration with other team members
  • Responsible for building/maintaining rapport with the child and keeping up-to-date with program goals/changes for each child

 Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Autism and other developmental disorders preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for helping children achieve their potential
  • Willing to learn and implement new skills
  • Willing to drive to client’s home/school to provide services
  • Must obtain BLS/CPR certification before starting employment
  • Reliable transportation, driver’s license, insurance, and smart phone
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members
