The Scientific Boating Safety Association (SBSA) is providing up to three, $300 training awards annually to undergraduate and/or graduate students to help offset the cost of their hands-on boater training.
SBSA’s mission is to facilitate the development of safe and productive scientific boaters through education, research and the advancement of standards for scientific boating practices, certifications and operations.
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Home institution must be an Organizational Member of SBSA (FIU is a member of SBSA). Non-members may join here.
2. Student requires scientific boating as part of your research or education.
3. Submit an application by Sept. 1, 2020.
