The Air Force Civilian Service is currently looking for Intelligence Specialists for the PALACE Acquire program at various locations.

Upon successful completion of the formal training plan, the PALACE Acquire Program offers a permanent position at AFCS, making it a great way to start your professional life.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the basic natural or social sciences, and/or engineering discipline as applied to intelligence operations and procedures
  • Ability to research, analyze and evaluate data
  • Skill in oral and written communication
  • Knowledge of computer operations and standard software applications

 Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Required to serve a 2-year probationary period under DCIPS
  • May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties
  • The employee must also sign a Statement of Understanding prior to occupying a DCIPS position
  • Those selected must complete a Special Background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication by a determining authority
  • Subject to pre-employment requirements and drug testing
  • If selected for a position, an official birth certificate, passport or Certificate of Naturalization will be required to verify citizenship prior to employment

This opportunity is open to graduates as of May 2018 who successfully completed a bachelor’s degree with at least a 2.95 GPA. Eligible veterans, who were not able to apply within two years of completing their degree due to active duty military service obligation, may have up to six years after degree or certificate completion to apply.
