Content curator intern needed at Essencia Air

Essencia Air was created to purify living spaces and connect communities to the environment with natural elements. They are seeking a dynamic and creative intern to regularly curate unique posts on new and upcoming plant care tips for NASA Approved Indoor Air purifying plants and more. 

Essencia Air’s mission is to create awareness and transcend the indoor houseplant trends because clean air is a necessity. The intern’s posts will be featured on their website and all PR related platforms across the board.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and write ups about new products and trends related to the company’s mission.
  • Create two to three blog posts per week on community relations, environmental impact and plant care tips.
  • Work closely with the operations manager and marketing team to develop creative ways to reach target audience.
  • Help maintain and update main website’s content.
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings.
  • Edit and proofread original content.

Qualifications:

  • Well versed on various online media platforms.
  • Intermediate experience with graphics or web designs is a plus.
  • Motivated and willing to engage in work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

Student Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn how to develop and update web content and design.
  • Learn the importance of key words and content marketing.
  • Analyze content and learn how to write for different channels.
  • Gather facts through skillful interviewing and research.
  • Learn how to structure narratives to fashion different types of articles.
