Broward County seeks environmental program supervisor

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for the position of environmental program supervisor for the Water Assessment Program within the Environmental Planning and Community Resilience Division. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating water resources assessments focused on current and future conditions and developing and applying technical tools and advanced hydrologic models. The duties will support the evaluation of traditional and climate change-driven challenges relating to water supply, storm water management, natural systems needs and flood protection.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in environmental sciences, chemistry, geology, hydrology, biology, ecology, limnology, engineering or closely related field.
  • Requires four years in environmental management and/or licensing, natural resource protection, or closely related experience including two years of lead work/supervisory experience.
