The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) College of Education is accepting qualified applications for the Program Analyst (Business/Analyst Management) vacancy. This is a joint-position between FAMU and the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), and is housed in the FLDOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Statewide Director for Career and Technical Education Quality with the organization, coordination and execution of the Department’s CTE program quality evaluation in addition to providing technical support to the FLDOE’s Division of Career and Adult Education (DCAE) and Division of Florida Colleges (DFC) initiatives related to workforce education.
  • Assisting with the implementation of all phases of the review
  • Providing support in the collection, summary and analysis of qualitative and descriptive quantitative data related to educational and occupational topic areas
  • Helping manage projects and coordinate meetings with internal and external education, state agency and industry stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of a framework that aligns quality CTE programs with state, regional, or local high-skill, high-wage or in-demand industry sectors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and one or two years of related experience OR
  • Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Education leadership or Policy, Program Evaluation, Public Policy or Administration, or related field.
