Diadem is the fastest growing performance tennis brand in the country. Founded in 2015, Diadem has developed a full product line of top-performing tennis gear for players, coaches and clubs worldwide.

The Diadem Sports Management Program is a completely hands-on internship program designed to give business and sports management students direct experience contributing to a fast-growing startup in the sporting industry.

Through the 12-week program, members will be trained in marketing, account management, business development, social media, product design and international business. The 5-level program introduces individuals to our business model and helps develop their overall competency in solving business problems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing database/CRM management to ensure contacts and data systems are accurate and efficient.
  • Assisting in marketing and social media strategies.
  • Scheduling partnership and sponsorship calls.
  • Managing customer relationships and offering customer support.
  • Collaborating with leadership team on sales and marketing strategies.
  • Connecting with prospective customers and building business relationships.
  • Assisting with shipping, inventory and logistics.
  • Introducing deals, offers and promotions to accounts and customers.
  • Contributing to product development and strategy meetings.
  • Documenting systems and processes to improve business efficiencies.
  • Assisting with order generation, invoicing and billing.
  • Compiling contact lists and conducting data mining for improvement of database.

Qualifications and skills:

  • The ability to work 15-20 hours per week (M-F) with flexible schedule to work around classes and exams.
  • Business or sports management majors preferred, other majors will be considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and overall computer competency.
