
Little Leaves Behavioral Services is currently seeking dedicated, fun individuals who are looking to have a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.
Behavior technicians are critical members of a child’s therapy team. They deliver the majority of a child’s individualized therapy hours based on the plans and protocols developed by the supervising behavior analyst and collect data on a child’s progress.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to client with autism spectrum disorders in the child’s home and/or in the community.
- Shadow client 1:1 to facilitate learning in groups.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that clients receive the highest quality therapy.
- Collect data throughout each session in a timely and efficient manner.
- Create program materials for individual clients as needed.
- Participate in introductory and ongoing training programs that provide instruction in ABA.
- Be energetic, creative and imaginative when working with children who have developmental delays.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in psychology, special education, social work or related field required.
- Commitment to earning a Registered Behavior Technician credential within 90 days of hire including a willingness to sit for RBT exam.
- Experience working with children with special needs, e.g., autism or developmental delays.
- Ability to interact well with children, families and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a therapy team member.
- Organized, flexible and willing to take constructive feedback and apply it to improve the quality of programming and one’s own professional development.
- Able to maintain client confidentiality.
- Record of success in previous positions as evidenced by excellent references.
