Content specialist needed at Harrell’s LLC

The Content specialist will develop content strategies, research trending topics and curate engaging content and copy including digital, print, social media and press releases in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing team’s initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Research, write and edit content to ensure it adheres to Harrell’s core values.
  • Manage content and copy for multiple monthly email newsletters. 
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with customers and other industry members for development of articles.
  • Identify industry trends and potential content for use on social media and the Harrell’s blog.
  • Manage Harrell’s social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and run analytics.
  • Develop product and company video concepts for YouTube. This includes writing video scripts, specifying video shots for production and coordinating final editing.
  • Conceptualize product and company ads for print magazines and digital platforms.
  • Conduct market research to target specific audiences and look for content that is in demand while incorporating SEO best practices and strategies. 
  • Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to identify opportunities for content creation to increase brand awareness.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, public relations or related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent project management and production skills 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and related software.
  • A relevant portfolio of work to illustrate work product in this regard.
