Scripps Research is looking for a lab assistant to join their team under Matthew David Disney. The assistant would provide general lab support including basic biochemical analyses, spectrometry, glassware washing, autoclaving and buffer prep.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained.
- Requires a minimum of 1+ years of related experience and/or associate degree in a scientific discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with horizontal and vertical electrophoresis, PCR and bacterial and mammalian cell culture.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Florida & Palm Beach County residents.
