
The 2021 Summer Treatment Program at the Center for Children and Families is looking for a full-time program coordinator.
The STP is an eight-week comprehensive summer camp program for children ages 6-12 with ADHD and related behavioral, emotional and learning challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating recruitment for the STP and related clinical studies.
- Conducting phone screenings with families interested in enrolling in the STP.
- Tracking completion of enrollment paperwork. Following up with families and teachers to complete forms.
- Scheduling initial assessments with clinicians and ensuring completion of assessments.
- Informing families of program acceptance and ensuring acceptance packet information is collected.
- Ensuring all payments due from families are requested and received.
- Coordinating with school personnel to determine needed rooms and facilities for the STP and to finalizing contracts and related paperwork.
- Supervising temporary personnel.
- Coordinating the move of equipment and supplies to/from storage unit to the school site.
- Assisting in the training of coordinators to coordinate training for STP counselors.
- Coordinating parent orientation and providing parents with pertinent information for the first day of the program.
- Ordering necessary materials and supplies for the STP.
- Overseeing the day-to-day administrative tasks including confirming child attendance, checking facilities and resolving issues, coordinating cleaning schedule, completing and filing all necessary paperwork, tracking program purchases and placing food/Fun Friday orders.
- Coordinating the ongoing maintenance and services for the STP, such as lawn maintenance, ice delivery, Fun Friday equipment, etc.
- Coordinating post-STP paperwork including completion of treatment reports, counselor letters of recommendation, participant holiday cards.
- Coordinating referrals for follow-up services for STP families.
- Completing budget/actual spending reports.
