FIU CCF seeks research coordinators and assistants

The Center for Children and Families is hiring up to three clinical research coordinators and up to three research assistants across multiple grant-funded school-based projects including the Adaptive Supports Provided in Regular Education Settings program, Positive Academic Supports in Schools and other funded projects.

Research Coordinator Positions (Job Opening ID: 523011):

Responsibilities involve assisting with project coordination, conducting clinical assessments, and providing project-related interventions. The ddeal candidates include individuals who have completed a master’s degree in mental health counseling, clinical social work or comparable training and who have experience providing clinical services to children with ADHD and their families. The ability to provide services in Spanish and English is preferred as is experience with teacher consultation. Candidates in their final year of a relevant clinical master’s program will be considered. Opportunities will be available for the successful candidate(s) to receive supervised clinical experience towards licensure.

Research Assistant Positions (Job Opening ID: 523009):

Responsibilities involve assisting with project recruitment, conducting initial eligibility screenings, scheduling study appointments and assisting with data collection. Ideal candidates include individuals with a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field. Research experience and experience working with children with ADHD and their families are preferred, as is the ability to converse fluently in both English and Spanish.
