Undergraduate research assistant position

The Wetland Ecosystems Research Lab is looking for an individual to help with all aspects of research related to the study of “peat collapse” in the Florida Coastal Everglades. This is an excellent opportunity for an undergraduate student looking to gain valuable research experience in a scientific setting.

The successful applicant will be involved with field and laboratory research, should be capable of working in strenuous field conditions and come with a hard-working attitude and desire to learn. No prior research experience is necessary. Individuals considering graduate school education in the environmental sciences are preferred.

The candidate will be expected to begin ASAP at $9/hour. Expected weekly hours will be dependent on scheduling but a minimum of 20 hours/week will be expected.
