Archidiocese of Miami seeking HR coordinator

The Archdiocese of Miami Pastoral Center has an opening for a full-time human resources recruitment coordinator. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a mission-driven person to begin a career in human resources.

The recruitment coordinator will support human resources activities for the Archdiocese of Miami and its entities by facilitating the human resource process in the areas of talent acquisition, from recruitment and selection to the on boarding of new employees in assigned parishes, schools and other entities. As a member of the Office of Human Resources at the Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese of Miami, this position will also participate in team projects as assigned by the Senior Director.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Schedule: 40 hours per week; M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


  • Bachelor degree with some coursework in human resources, psychology, communication and/or business administration. One year’s human resources, legal, or related experience in a regulated and confidential environment; experience in customer-service or call center environment.
  • Experience in a Roman Catholic environment.
  • Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
  • Good Spanish-language spoken communication skills strongly preferred; Haitian Creole a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of human resources policies and procedures in one or more areas of human resources.
  • Must be supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Publisher or Canva preferred as well. Adobe Suite a plus.
  • Type at least 45 wpm with 90% accuracy.
