The Latina Institute is seeking a bilingual digital organizer who is passionate about reproductive justice, social justice and racial justice to help engage, mobilize, activate and organize supporters, activists and allies of Latina Institute. The digital organizer will help build the independent, progressive power of individuals through developing, leading and executing campaigns and organizing drives that build the Latina Institute’s base of supporters, activists and leaders for reproductive justice.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with national director of Field and Advocacy on strategic goals to help build grassroots support for Latina Institute’s reproductive justice work by organizing and managing online recruitment and base-building efforts.
- Execute digital campaigns and events to grow online membership and engagement of online supporters.
- Develop strategies aimed at targeting, building and retaining membership segments based on issues, campaigns, demographics and other variables to deepen activism and engagement among members with specific interests.
- Maintain a rigorous schedule of relational meetings.
Qualifications:
- Experience with digital organizing tools and platforms.
- Experience and knowledge of data collection, analysis and evaluation.
- Proven organizing ability and effectiveness engaging potential activists, supporters, institutional leaders and elected officials.
